Sales Representative (Outdoor Living Projects)

At Urban Oasis, we design and build high-end outdoor spaces for homeowners who expect a premium experience—from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. We’re looking for a Sales Representative who can guide prospects through that journey—turning qualified leads into well-defined, profitable projects.

The Role

This is not a transactional sales role.

You will be responsible for owning the sales process from first contact to signed deal, delivering a high-trust, consultative experience.

You are the person who:

  • Builds confidence with clients
  • Translates ideas into clear project scopes
  • Aligns design, expectations, and budget
  • Closes deals that are both profitable and well-structured

1. Lead Response & Qualification

  • Respond quickly to inbound leads from:
    • Marketing campaigns
    • Referral channels
  • Qualify prospects and understand:
    • Project goals
    • Budget expectations
    • Timeline

2. Walkthroughs & Client Consultation

  • Conduct on-site consultations with homeowners
  • Understand the space, vision, and lifestyle needs
  • Guide clients with confidence and expertise
  • Position Urban Oasis as the trusted partner for their project

3. Proposal Development

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured proposals
  • Ensure scope, pricing, and expectations are aligned
  • Collaborate with the Design Coordinator to ensure design accuracy
  • Present proposals in a way that builds trust and clarity

4. Closing & Deal Structuring

  • Follow up consistently and professionally
  • Handle objections with confidence
  • Close deals that are:
    • Profitable
    • Realistic
    • Well-defined for execution

5. Collaboration & Handoff

  • Work closely with:
    • Design Coordinator → ensure design alignment
    • Sales Coordinator → ensure smooth project setup
  • Ensure all project details are clearly documented before handoff
  • Set up production teams for success from day one

6. Pipeline Management & Follow-Ups

  • Manage all leads and opportunities in CRM
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with:
    • Warm leads
    • Open proposals
  • Ensure no opportunity is lost due to lack of communication

7. Client Experience & Trust Building

  • Deliver a polished, professional experience at every touchpoint
  • Communicate clearly, confidently, and proactively
  • Build strong relationships that lead to:
    • High close rates
    • Referrals
    • Positive client perception

Strong sales experience (preferably in home services, construction, or high-ticket sales)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Confident leading in-person consultations

Organized and detail-oriented

Strong follow-up discipline

Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously

Results-driven with a focus on closing and profitability

Experience in:

  • Landscaping, pools, outdoor living, or construction
  • Design-related sales or consultative sales

Familiarity with CRM systems

Bilingual (English/Spanish is a plus)

High lead-to-close conversion rate

Well-structured deals with clear scope and expectations

Strong pipeline management and consistent follow-ups

Smooth handoff to operations with minimal issues
